Pink Slip Studio was found by Nat Miller (she/they). She is a multidisciplinary artist and arts professional. Nat received her BFA in Studio Arts from the University of Rio Grande with speciality in Sculpture, Photography (film & digital), and Printmaking. In 2018, Nat graduated with her MFA in Arts leadership at Seattle University in 2018. While studying at SU, Nat interned and contracted at a variety of arts nonprofits such as: Artist Trust, Pilchuck, Three Dollar Bill Cinema, and CoCA. After receiving their MFA from SU, Nat worked as the Access Fund & Events Manager at Pratt Fine Arts Center. There they managed the annual Art Auction event and supported fundraising efforts. After her stint in the nonprofit world, Nat transitioned to the for-profit sector as the Operations Manager & Lead Producer for Burgess/Hall group. There she Lead Produced two concurrent weekend-long Pride festivals in the heart of Capitol Hill. queer/pride festival is one of the largest Pride events on the West Coast. They have recently returned to the arts nonprofit sector and work at the Frye Art Museum as their Special Events Coordinator. In her personal art practice, Nat plays with themes of fragility, absurdity, exploring queer identity & kink, showcasing raw materiality, and levity. She currently works in ceramics at Of the Earth Collective.
